Helen Mackay, BCA, LLB, has been an in-house lawyer and a champion of the in-house legal profession for more than 20 years. She is a former President and CEO of the In-house Lawyers Association of New Zealand and co-chair of the foundation committee of In-House Counsel Worldwide.
Helen now leads NewLaw firm and legal services provider Juno Legal which provides on-demand in-house legal services for businesses and enables in-house lawyers to work flexibly. The firm’s consulting work focuses on strategy, design and high performance in in-house legal functions and their use of technology. She was awarded Managing Partner of the Year <100 lawyers at the 2022 NZ Law Awards.
