Rebecca is the founder and CEO of icourts. A lawyer by trade for over a decade, she ventured into technology for its power to manage and distil information and its potential to lower the cost of access to justice. Over the last 20 years she has delivered technology solutions for 31 Royal Commissions and Commissions of Inquiry across Australia, NZ and the UK pioneering the deployment and evolution of electronic courtrooms and the uptake of electronic evidence management.
Rebecca is a believer in human capital and her goals for icourts are to reinvent the way tech is used in providing services to clients, to provide a creative and productive workplace in which to do that and to have a social impact. She devotes time to many organisations contributing to thought leadership and providing support to important questions for the legal profession and business more generally such as data privacy, supporting women in the legal profession and within the IT sector, mentoring and ethical decision making. Currently, she sits the NSW Law Society Diversity & Inclusion Committee.
Rebecca is a technology evangelist and each day through icourts is working to change the way technology is used in the practice of law.
