At LawFest 2017, we introduced the new initiative of the LawFest Membership. A community to bring legal professionals together, keeping them up to date with the latest legal tech news, developments and solutions from New Zealand and around the globe.

The LawFest membership is for any legal professional to be a part of the New Zealand legal innovation and technology community. The first of its kind in New Zealand. We believe this community will become increasingly important as the legal landscape is undergoing considerable change that will continue to disrupt legal practice.

Members can join as an individual or part of their organisation. We have kept the annual membership at a very reasonable level to help grow access to this community. Individual memberships start from just $250 (+gst).

All members receive a 30% discount off tickets for LawFest 2018. The number of discounted tickets will reflect the number of members within your membership category.

Networking events

All members will receive free attendance at Wellington and Auckland networking events, including our LawFest 2018 launch party. These networking events will have keynote speakers, together with drinks and nibbles.

These events will be a great opportunity to network with other members and discuss the challenges and solutions of legal tech and innovation within your teams and firms. These networking events will also be a great opportunity to meet industry providers.

Regular innovation and tech industry updates

Each month members will receive an update on legal innovation and technology in New Zealand. The content will include the latest legal innovation and technology developments from New Zealand and abroad, including content from members and technology providers. This update will be an opportunity for members to share their own experiences, projects, events and stories on legal innovation and technology with your peers.

We will be promoting announcements/member specials from technology providers, whilst if you are holding an event or function, let us know as we can promote this for you.

LawFest members will be invited to join the LawFest LinkedIn Group. Group members will be able to share relevant news and your insights on legal innovation and tech, and learn from what others are doing.

Greater exposure for your organisation

All members (legal professionals and providers) will be listed as a LawFest member on our website with a link back to your own website. There will also be the opportunity for you to publish your innovation and technology stories on the LawFest blog and our newsletter.

As a member, we will help you by providing advice and facilitating introductions between legal professionals and technology providers. You can request introductions and free demos to legal technology providers.
