Joy is a senior commercial lawyer, specialising in technology, artificial intelligence, privacy and data protection, and general commercial advisory. She advises on a broad range of commercial matters, with a particular focus on commercial contracting and regulatory compliance. Joy brings strategic insight to technology projects and complex commercial issues, drawing on her background in commercial litigation, including in technology disputes. She supports both technology vendors and their clients with procurement, contractual arrangements, IP commercialisation, and regulatory compliance. Joy is passionate about legal innovation, including in the AI space.
Before practising law, Joy worked in management consulting at Bain & Company in Sydney, advising large, multinational companies across financial services, insurance, telecommunications, utilities, logistics, health and retail. She leverages her consulting background to deliver commercially focused advice.
