Wenee Yap is at the forefront of empowering lawyers to thrive in the AI era. As Director of AI Literacy at 43° Below, working closely with FrontTier, she delivers tailored microcredentials that enable legal professionals to harness AI safely, effectively, and ethically—with a particular emphasis on eliminating hallucinations and integrating AI into every relevant aspect of legal practice.
In 2025, Wenee pioneered AI literacy at UTS Faculty of Law, creating fundamentals and prompt engineering courses focused on legal research, analysis, and drafting within the Australian Solicitors’ Conduct Rules framework. She led the Australian rollout of legal AI for a major legaltech and has consulted for innovators including Nick Whitehouse of Onit. A qualified lawyer (LLB First Class Hons), award-winning lecturer, and co-author of Riding the Unicorn, Wenee bridges legal education, practice, and technology through hands-on training built around real use cases.
